I am an executive who specializes in digital business that transform companies. Working in consumer engagement, e-Commerce and advertising I’ve grown several businesses from early stages into multi-million dollar growth engines.
I am currently the Senior Vice President of Digital at the Star Tribune company in Minnesota where I lead digital efforts for the company. During my tenure at Star Tribune we reinvented the digital business by introducing new digital products, improving existing digital experiences and engaging our readers across the web. We introduced digital subscriptions and grew our advertising business both on Star Tribune properties and off site as well. The future of Star Tribune is lead by its growing digital busines which is a major reason for our success in a challenging industry.
Prior to joining the Star Tribune, I was the General Manager of MarketWatch.com where I oversaw the website for Dow Jones, a division of News Corp. During my leadership site traffic and visitors increased 35%. The site was redesigned, social media tools were introduced, Twitter and Facebook presences were developed into major traffic drivers. Prior to running the consumer website, I helped grow MarketWatch’s SAAS business to business division which supported top clients across the financial services and media industries such as Schwab, E*Trade, Fidelity, New York Times, USA Today, CNN and Wall Street Journal.
